Corey Tablan — Marketing & Production

Why do some stories catch fire and others don't? I've spent my career finding out.

I work in digital media, building strategy and audiences for platforms with millions of views.

My background is in Development, Production, and Marketing of Digital Media. I've been a part of dozens of productions and graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Collaborative Arts BFA with a minor in Business in Entertainment and Media Technology. I helped grow Instar, an anime channel that hit 100,000 subscribers and multi-million views, and NLiTE, a virtual idol group with 100,000 followers. That mix means I don't just guess what will land. I've watched it happen, at scale.

  • Production

I run pipelines across teams and keep releases on schedule.

  • Marketing strategy

I use audience data to shape campaigns and rollout timing.

  • Cross-functional coordination

I connect creative, marketing, and production so nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Data & reporting

I turn performance data into plans stakeholders can act on.

Building the production system behind a virtual idol group

NLiTE

NLiTE is a virtual idol group built on motion capture and VFX. I manage production for the group, everything from short and long-form video across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, to full music video production using mocap and VFX. My work is the infrastructure behind growth, not the growth itself. I build multi-month content calendars and rollout strategies, align creative, marketing, and post-production teams across regions, and run the trackers and planning decks that keep releases on schedule. That structure is part of how NLiTE reached 100,000 followers across social media and weekly livestreams pulling tens of thousands of views. Our original music videos have hit millions of views on the channel. It also showed up offline. NLiTE landed a booth at KPlay Fest, one of the biggest K-pop festivals in the world, where over 20,000 attendees saw us live.

Running production and marketing for a 100,000-subscriber anime channel

Instar

Aura Productions

Instar, by Aura Productions, is an anime channel with millions of views and over 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. I worked on a 50-episode anime series there. First as a production and marketing associate, then as project manager. On the production side, I ran the pipeline. That means I connected editors, line art, color, FX, and post-production teams. I managed 50+ tasks across 10+ teams using Jira. I also kept the shared asset files organized so every team had what they needed. I was the go-to person for the Directors when something got stuck. On the marketing side, I researched anime trends to help pick release timing. I tracked how posts performed on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. I used that data to shape the campaign and improve how many people stuck around. Both sides talked to each other. Production data shaped marketing decisions. Marketing data shaped production timing.
